The Quran contains exactly 114 suras. This number is significant: 114 = 19 × 6, reflecting the Quran's mathematical foundation based on the number 19.

The Quran contains 6346 verses (not including the unnumbered Basmalas that precede each sura except Sura 9). 6346 = 19 × 334, another manifestation of the mathematical miracle.

Sura 2 — The Heifer (Al-Baqarah) — is the longest sura, containing 286 verses.

Sura 103 — The Afternoon (Al-‘Asr) — is the shortest sura, containing only 3 verses.

The first sura is Sura 1 — Al-Fãtehah (The Key). It contains 7 verses and is recited in every unit of the daily Contact Prayers. Its first verse consists of exactly 19 letters, the foundation of the mathematical miracle.

The Basmala is the phrase "Bismi Allahi Alrahmani Alraheem" — "In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful." It precedes 113 of the 114 suras (all except Sura 9, Bara'ah). Sura 27 contains an extra Basmala within verse 30, making the total count of Basmalas in the Quran 114 = 19 × 6.

Sura 9 — Bara'ah (Ultimatum) — is the only sura that does not begin with the Basmala. This is a divine sign indicating that two false verses (9:128–129) were added to the Quran. See Appendices 24 & 29 for full details.

The Quran's text is built on an intricate mathematical structure based on the prime number 19 — mentioned in 74:30 ("Over it is 19"). Every word of the Basmala occurs in the Quran a number of times that is a multiple of 19. The total number of suras (114), verses (6346), and countless letter/word counts throughout the text are all divisible by 19.

Sura 96 — Al-'Alaq (The Clot) — was the first sura revealed, specifically its opening 5 verses (96:1–5). These 19 words were the very first Quranic revelation given to Muhammad.

Sura 110 — Al-Nassr (Help) — was the last sura revealed. It consists of only 3 verses and 19 words, confirming the mathematical miracle at the very end of revelation.

The Quran's central message is that God is One — absolute, eternal, uncreated, with no partners or equals. Sura 112 (Al-Ikhlas, "Absoluteness") summarizes this in four verses: "He is GOD, the One. GOD, the Absolute. Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten. None equals Him."

The Quran commands the establishment of five daily Contact Prayers (Salat). Key verses include 2:43, 2:238, 17:78, and 20:14. The Contact Prayers are described as a direct connection between the believer and God.
